- The Town of Johnsburg is made up of seven (7) hamlets: Bakers Mills, Garnet Lake, Johnsburg, North Creek, North River, Riparius and Wevertown.
- Total population of the Town of Johnsburg (in area, the largest town in Warren County) is 2,450.
- The Johnsburg Town Board meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Wevertown Community Center and the third Tuesday at the Johnsburg Library (Major holidays move meetings to the following Thursday)
- UPDATED!!! The Johnsburg Planning Board meets the fouth Monday of each month at Tannery Pond Community Center.
- The Johnsburg Zoning Board of Appeals meets the first Monday of each month at Tannery Pond Community Center.
- Town of Johnsburg land taxes are due Jan-Mar and are payable at Town Hall on Main Street in North Creek NY. Call the Town Clerk for information - 251-3011x28
- School taxes are due Sept-Oct and are payable in person at Johnsburg Central School during the month of September only. Call Mary Alexander for more information - 251-2431
- North Creek water rents are due in April & October. Call JJ Lomax for information - 251-5046
- Residents may reserve a Town building for personal use. For availability and scheduling information call 251-2421x21
- All houses must have a 911 number. If you do not have a number or do not know if yours is correct, please call 251-5559x25
- There are three voting districts (District #1 Wevertown / District #2 North Creek / District #3 Bakers Mills) with one polling place at the Wevertown Community Center. For more information conatct the Warren County Board of Elections at 761-6458 or 761-6459

Transfer Station
EXPNADED HOURS!!! The Transfer Station is open Noon till 5pm Monday - Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday (except Holidays). Punch cards and refuse tickets for use at the Transfer Station are available at the Town Clerk's officet at Town Hall. Tickets may also be purchased at Braley & Noxon Hardware at 256 Main Street.
- The "Free" Dump Cards are ready and available at the Town Clerks office. These cards are issued annualy to home owners in the Town of Johnsburg and are now good YEAR-ROUND!!!!!
- Brush is no longer accepted due the changes in DEC burning regulations. All lumber must be placed in C&D - there is a charge associated with this service.
- Trash Stickers are now $3.00 each (one sticker per standard 33g. bag)

STAR Program - School Tax Relief Program
The star program is available to all primary homeowners in the Town of Johnsburg. To learn more about the Star Program visit the Office of Real Property Services web site or stop by the Assessor’s office at Town Hall for an application.
